Clinical Supervision
For Marriage and Family Therapists
Are You Looking for Supervision?
Hi, I’m Catherine. I am an AAMFT- Approved Supervisor with over 5 years of experience providing supervision to clinicians pursuing licensure as Marriage and Family Therapist, and over 15 years of experience as a mental health clinician. I have over 12 years of experience in growing a successful private practice.
Simply put, supervision is my way of giving back to the profession that has given me so much. I have so much gratitude for the clinicians who gave their time and energy to my growth as a therapist. It is exciting to see clinicians new to the field hone their therapeutic skills, and grow in their confidence as therapists.
I see the supervisory relationship as a collaborative relationship. I believe that who we are as people, and our past experiences shape who we are as therapists. My goal is to foster a supervisory relationship of nonjudgmental compassion as you develop and hone your clinical skills. It is my hope to help therapists develop the practice that best fits them, and to help them come to understand their learning edges as they develop their clinical skills.
If you are looking for a supervisor who enjoys working collaboratively, and your professional interest lies in humanistic, client centered, modalities within an attachment theory framework, we would be a good fit.
Additionally, I provide consultation to licensed professionals interested in working with clients using Internal Family Systems. These consultations are designed to specifically foster IFS skills in clinicians, for clinicians to identify and attend to their own parts that can be activated by clinical issues or clients, and to engage in parts work as it relates to the professional practices.

Grow Your Therapist Self

In our relationships, we are all vulnerable.
Paradoxically, when we embrace that vulnerability, we open ourselves to the real juice of life.
We acknowledge the courage it takes to show yourself to someone you just met. Our goal is to make counseling a safe and supportive atmosphere where you feel heard and understood. If you are struggling, we are here to help.
